I need help!!

My anti-virus has found a trojan.[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] *win32:trojan-gen*
So it is in quarantine and so far I ran defender, avast, trojan remover & spybot and none are finding anything else...is it because there's nothing else to find or they just suck?
Any advice on what I should do now?

Oh hun I have NO idea about that stuff. I have had to have my pc reformatted 3x LOL.

I think it bc there is nothing else to find usually they will alert you when there is a virus or spyware

I ran a couple and nothing so far... but I can't restore before february which is just weird!!

Okay on your desktop go to the start menu, then click on programs, click on accessories, click on system tools, then system restore then the restore screen should pop up it will give you 2 options The recommended restore or choose a different restore point you pick the 2nd one and click next and a list of date and times should be listed pick which ever you want

yep that's what I did! But the only choices I have for dates are in february, I can't go back before that at all & I should be able to choose a date say in december or january, shouldn't I?

I think the reason you're not seeing any dates older than february is bc thats when your comp had updates added to it, when you are in system restore there is a check box that says Show restore points older than 5 days click it and it should give you another date and time frame

I have plenty of dates in february but I would like to restore further back than that.See on the calendar on the top left there's an arrow and a bubble says go to previous month-->when I click on it nothing happens?!?!Same thing for the right box can't go back before february either! Suspect

And I must be a dumbass I don't see the box you're talking about Nat! Shocked

ahhh the reason you don't see it is bc you have XP and I have Vista mine is a little different, on the calendar when you click on the back arrow it goes back to January do you see any dates highlighted or in bold?
